Steve has a long history in law enforcement; he began his career with the Dallas County Sheriff Office and was later the Chief of Police in Mabank before traveling the United States as a loss prevention and criminal investigator for 15 years. He moved to Gatesville from Utah and has been employed with the Coryell County Sheriff Office for 12 years. Steve is married to Cindy and they are active members of the Boots-n-Saddle cowboy church. He has one son who resides in Alaska and is an Alaskan State Trooper/Game Warden. Steve is also a member of the Gatesville Lions Club. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his dogs, horses and cattle. He recently obtained his real estate license and is eager to get started helping others in their search for land and property. If you have ever had the “Sands Special” at Studebakers, you can thank Steve!
